Having the relay wired up may be my problem bc the tub/ pump turns freely. How do u know the correct way to hook it up?

Lol smokes all the time, but I jus turn it on spin an it starts smoking after 5 seconds then I turn it off. I also changed the relays, but I'm not sure if it's hooked up correctly. I've tried it several different ways. I'll try an see if the pump turns freely but I'm sure it will bc the tub...

I have taken the original motor out and put in another one and it is still smoking! I'm pretty positive I have the motor relay switch hooked up right and I can't seem to find any other problems. Any pointers??

Okay thanks, in looking for the 18 inch shaft transmission. I forgot to mention I have tried different dampening pads to try to help the shaking but it didn't work.

Hello, my brake on my GE filter flo washer recently went out. It isn't strong enough anymore to keep the wash basket locked into position when washing. Is the brake something repairable on a ge ff or do I have to put in a different transmission? Also what could I do for a weak suspension system...
