In the old movies Gas was about 20 cents a gallon, so that would be about $3.00 today (two silver dimes) Honestly the price of gas isn't too bad.

It is a little expensive but if I were interested in getting one of these sets, or already had one, I would go get it just to have the parts out of it. If that was within a 100 miles of me I would definitely go get it (make an offer first)

Well, I have been working on this Westinghouse dryer in my spare time, and have got it running. The contacts in the timer were not working, so I took it apart and cleaned it up. It was sluggish basically running only on one line, but now it fully works. However the timer doesn't advance. So...

Here the dryer is drying away The timers on both advance. There is a slight outer tub leak in the washer that might fix itself after it gets a little more water soaked. I hope so. I put a little plate down there for now.

Time for the spin dryer. Well, I can report that there is actually very little water in these clothes. Actually, almost nothing came out which is a lot different than the Kenmore.
