    .... '62 Frigidaire Dryer motor .....

I'd suggest even if you get one from John you have that one re-wound.  It's not like you can just run out to the Frigidaire store and get one anymore ;)  Of course that's easy for me to say because I have two motor shops within a mile of my house.

    1-18 Rollers

If you're running it on normal speed with a water level any less than small you're probably going to get that shaking that you are talking about.  Mini setting with normal agitation equal vibrations.

I picked up the 1-18 today and It's missing the Agitator Cap,Lint Filter and Timer Knob.

I hate taking those damn nuts off.  They never should have used such a thing.  The old I bolts on the early Unimatics is so much easier.

    Show us your typewriters folks.

Here is my IBM Selectric II Correcting.  I managed over the years to get all the font balls that go with it.  Back in high school I used to be able burn 144-wpm on one of these things.

    your Teenage lust cars...

Lust! With me it was any of the big GM front wheel drive luxury sedans.  My first car was a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham, exact colors pictured here.  I got it in 1990 when I was 17.  What I really wanted but could not yet afford at the time was a Sedan deVille or a Fleetwood.  I...

Saving a Unimatic - a Custom Imperial restoration

This really is an amazing restoration job.  One question Ben.  Could you detail for the rest of us here exactly the steps involved in wiring in a relay on a Unimatic?  I'll be restoring a 55 sometime this coming year and those instructions would be very helpful.

    A new discovery

All these years I've had Frigidaire washers and I just made a new discovery this evening.  Here is my '67 Rapidry washing sheets in Tide and I have always used my machines with the cap on the agitator.   The cap on this machine has always been loose and I kept it in place with a rubber band...

    Driver's Ed Cars

Mine was a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity CL just like the one pictured here.  It had the 2.8 MPFI V6 and was a fun car to drive.  The seats (as pictured) were very nice as well.
