    67' Frigidaire Imperial Rapidry1000

I sincerely don't think you have anything there to be concerned about.  Most of the Rollermatics I've heard (including my own) sound like this or louder in some cases.  Most 1-18's are definitely louder.  Others here may differ on my opinion however.  Phil is more attuned to the sounds than I am...

    67' Frigidaire Imperial Rapidry1000

Now, Let's talk about what is happening here.  First rule that I operate by is that if it ain't broke don't fix it.  Please tell me ( and the rest of us following here who are also experts ) what is wrong with the machine and the agitate arm.  A video would be nice too.  What I don't want is to...

    Frigidaire Rollermatic Agitate Arm Rebuild

Hi there, I've been following your other thread on your machines and I'm going to address your concerns there rather than in this thread.  This particular project was of a rather severe nature more so that what your needs are...

    67' Frigidaire Imperial Rapidry1000

Very Nice!  Congratulations!  I've never seen an "Imperial" before, just a Custom Imperial.  I have two '67s similar.  A Custom Deluxe and a Custom Imperial.  If you need advice this is a great place for it.  I've had these machines apart in every form and fashion possible in the last 7 years...

Vintage avocado washer and dryer, work FRIGIDAIRE JETCONE

Yes, please do share pictures with us.  We don't see these very often anymore.  If you have any problems let us know.  I have a great deal of experience in working on these because of my own.  The threads on here show me having taken the whole thing apart at some point!  Love these Rapidry...

Parts forage: Frigidaire 1-18 and Westinghouse slant-front 3-belt

1-18 timer motor is a easy repair.  No need to replace the whole time.  You'll need to remove the timer motor and find out what kind it is.  Most likely it is a Kingston Model 60.  I was able a few years ago to purchase a new one from Appliance Parts Company online.  I also sent my old one away...

    Harmonizing Wash Day

I certainly wish they would have kept this balance system instead of going to those metal shavings.  I've had two bad tubs as a result of the plug leaking and moisture getting in the balance ring.  Now, every time I get one of these I seal that plug!

Wow, Congratulations on your find!  Can't wait to watch and see this evolve.  Take lots of pictures for us!

    "New" Frigidaire 1-18

I'm going to chime in here with Phil because I've seen this before.  Since it brakes well that gives me a little information to go on with it.  Has this machine has set for quite a while?  If so then I'm not surprised to see this happening.   There are several scenarios that could be at play...

On The Organ Trail in Manhattan

Moller - 1958/1991 Here is one of the last Moller's at our church.  Originally built in '58 it was revised and added to in 1991.  We are Opus 9201 and they came to ours right after finishing the Calvary Grand Organ down in Charlotte -- that's the one that helped bankrupt them.  Some of the work...

    Lunch buffet at Hans kitchen!

Yes, what great guys and great food.  I love getting the chance to either go down to Hans's or Bob Orear's for some good old "Southern Style!"

    What foods do you DESPISE!

I positively loathe tomatoes and cucumbers!

Nothing better than that "little old lady" owned find

That's a mighty fine Park Avenue.  I had an 86 and an 89 and they were among the best cars I've ever owned.  I've heard you've got to be careful with that series II engine and it's potential intake manifold gasket issues letting coolant go to places it shouldn't.   Makes me want a Park Avenue...

There's a new beauty in my garage!

Wow man, you're one of the few I've seen keep a car up like I do.  When it's trade in time I always get more than expected because I keep my cars clean, well serviced, and repair anything promptly that needs attention.  You save money in the long run that way.   Honda does a fine car and I've...
