Try a pre-treat with GOOP or D-L brand hand cleaner. They have a high lanolin content and they do a wonderful job of removing grease and oil.

Hello, I have a Whirlpool duet front loader for parts. The bearings are knackered in the outer tub, no clue on inner drum's condition, looks good but spider and shaft could be cooked, washer is watertight, all other parts work excellent. If you need anything other than the drum, let me know...
