The dryer .... I grew up with but in white. It lasted 20 plus years cause dad knew how to keep it going. Changed the belt, replaced a thermostat a couple of times but for the most part a really good dryer.

I have one as well .... because I had to have one to go with my agitators! The yellow ring on the sprinklers were always too yellow, but close enough for a freebie back in the day.

My Grandmother........ believed in hot water soaks. When she washed whites, or towels and kitchen rags, potholders and the like, she would use Tide, a touch of LCB and let it wash a minute. Then pull the knob out on her 62 Frigidaire washer and let it soak. Depending on what she was doing it...
