I just got in a kitchen drawer for a basting brush and what I came up with was a Fuller Brush basting brush. This brought back memories of the Fuller Brush man visiting my Mother who used the brooms and mops and dusters. Anyone else have fond memories of Fuller Brush? Greg

I use a long obsolete facial brush and the famous shampoo brush every day!

Fulsol

This can of air freshener has been kicking around since the '60s or '70s. One of my mom's many Fuller Brush purchases. The old school CFC propellant is still viable, and one metered spray is plenty.
I was out of air freshener recently and dug this can up. My buddy was impressed with it, but since he has a tendency to overdo things, I replaced it with a new can before he used it all up.
I'm fairly certain the original cap was the small metal type that fit over the top center ridge that surrounds the spray head. It was either gold or the same shade of green that's on the can.
I have two vintage plastic letter openers with the shape and image of a Fuller Brush man wearing a hat. Give-away items for sure. One is clear and the other one brown with some lighter swirls in it. I can't put my hands on either of them right now.
Of course the pix are sideways. No amount of rotating in my editing software will fix this problem. Grrrrr.

I have a dust mop my mom got from Fuller Brush sometime around 1970.
I'd forgotten about Fulsol; my mom used to buy that occasionally.
Another company that sold door to door was Stanley Home Products. I have several of their products, including two cake knives, and one for grapefruit.

In anyway similar to our Betterware brush co? I recall we had catalogues delivered that you chose what you wanted, My mum remembers there used to be a salesman who came to the door with a suitcase of brushes and folding handles.
Still have a couple of brushes including a dry mop for applying polish to the edges of the floor as fitted carpet was not about then !!

Very probably the same concept. Precursor to "party plans" like Tupperware...the "soandso man" concept kind of died out in the 80s...but morphed in most cases to a catalogue based service. Only similar concepts I can think of that are still in existence are Schwan's frozen foods and Snap-On/MAC tools (where they go to worksites)

They are but I'm talking more about legitimate rather than "pyramid" organizations.
My aunt sold Fuller products for many, many years. So my home was well acquainted with their brushes, mops and cleaning products. I haven't purchased anything from them in years.
