It appears .... that this '61 Kenmore had a steel on steel shaft to bushing configuration from the initial photos, which I find a bit odd.

Just had .... a SEER 18 heat pump installed at my mom's condo, a Carrier unit. The outside condenser unit comes up to my chest and I'm 5'11". The thing looks huuuuuge. But anyways, yeah ...... still the usual blast of cold air every time it starts blowing and when the outside temp is below...

Here's what I did on mine ..... Once modified, I simply take the bolt out of the end of the drum shaft and use the grease gun to lube the bearing once assembled. This can be done on all years that have this bronze donut bushing and shaft arrangement.    Did this on my '62. Never have to worry...

I'll vouch ..... for Foca. I have used it off and on to switch things up now and then. It seems to do a good job on linens and towels and has a mild pleasant scent after coming out of the dryer.

No doubt ..... Last time I went was when I was confronted with their lowest price 6' HDMI cable .... was $29. PFFT! See ya, wouldn't want to be ya.

I remember ...... that plain red logo from the 60's and pull tabs weren't common until round about 1965ish. So my guess that this machine is early 60's and with the original logo.

These were the people .... back in March 2018, told me that they had a 1.5 year waiting list before they could even begin to do my washing machine top and lid.   I used IPE instead and they had it done in 10 weeks.   Sorry to hear this, hope you can get your part(s) back.

Odd bird .... bleach dispenser on the left .... and lid switch on the right .... with a lid handle cut-out on the lid's front/right. The control panel has been removed and flopped over on top with control boards pointing up.

Had the same issue ...... Relocated the defrost ice sensor up higher next to where the lines come into the cabinet at the evaporator ..... and noticed there was a gap in the cabinet and lines ..... which was allowing moist air to come in and make a huge ice dam much higher in the evap coil...

Check ..... faucet aerators throughout the house and see if debris is collecting in them. I had a water heater throw out some plastic gunk once and nearly stopped water flow into the dishwasher and other faucets, but really affected the dishwasher performance before I found the problem. It...
