    Question for our Australian Friends

Yes that WOULD be the lottery. LOL. If I weren't coupled, I'd say bring it on! There are a whole lot of Greeks in Australia, I think in Melbourne. Lord knows I'd make a good mail-order bride for one of them. I cook, clean do laundry, am employable and **ck and **ck with enthusiasm. Do you...

    Question for our Australian Friends

It takes money to make money Or as gandpa used to say "Without yeast, bread you can not make." Thank you for the link. Thre is a web/internet scam in this country proclaiming the receiver has won the Australian lottery. Our lotteries are on the state level so one never knows if this even...

    New Whirlpool DU945 Dishwasher

Leonard. Installation is a snap. IMHO the key is to use one of those "new" flexible DW hoses that have a SS braiding. I don't know of anyone that still uses the older copper tubing style (to fill the machnne with water) [which is a PITA to install] during a re-install.

    AGITATURBI......

25kg / 55 lbs is impressive. Is this is true/possible in a home machine?

Lovely. Sounds delightful. I'm too lazy to research. Anyone want to add in some links? And the funny thing is since I have "won the Australian lottery", I was contemplating a move there.

I need some help with a Brand of Electric Water Heater replacement:

~Reviewing my records, I did install it with the lower element converted to 5,500 watts, because my wiring and circuit breakers were sized for that. Was the wring WITHIN the HWH properly sized for that?

    BACON!

I'm a bad Jew and I love bacon EVERYONE loves bacon, supposed to or not. I worked in a country club as a teenager where the membership (all Jewish) absolutely went bonkers over surf-and-turf night. Pork, bacon, shellfish, lobster and shrimp and all manner of decidedly NOT kosher items were...

    Lid locks

Neat was to use an American top-loader in a laundromat in London that had a lid-lock installed to confrom with local laws/code/ordinances. This was backin the 90's. I think it was a Maytag!

    BACON!

See? I do eat fish occasionally. Yankees, sophisiticated? HA! We just have to spend time indoors in winter and invent things to do! I actually has a southern-style meal the other day when a young lady from Tennesse cooked for me with Tilapia fried in a blackened cast-iron skillet (tons of...

I need some help with a Brand of Electric Water Heater replacement:

Hi Steve. First it needs to determined if there are 20a circuits or 30a circuits. If there are 30a circuits, your friend is better off making sure his new HWH-ers are the ones designed for 30a circuits (5,500w?). Electric hot water heaters have a much slower recovery time than gas ones do, and...
