    Your Hand-Washing Methods

Believe Me... If I had the option of owning or having a dishwasher, I'd do so in a heartbeat. However, in the apartment I live in at this time I don't have that luxury. There's a clause in the lease where we can NOT have either a portable dishwasher, washer or dryer. Having said item is a...

    New Electric Razor Reccomendations

I saw a Norelco at Wally World earlier for 89.99. Didn't get the model #, but looked like a nice shaver. Also saw a Remington at Target for 49.99 (I didn't know Remington made Norelco clones). Sam, what was the brand you had that up and died? Did you have it very long?

    New Electric Razor Reccomendations

A Curious Question From the two pics I've seen of other members making comments on this thread, it appears I'm not the only one who goes for the bald look. I usually do mine about every five days. I trim it down as much as I possibly can using my two Wahl beard trimmers, then follow up with...

    POTD 01-01-13

First of all. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL! I hope it's a good one for everybody on here (and future new members). When the commercial for this machine first debuted back in '86, I noticed they showed nary a single Procter and Gamble brand, even though they still had a coupon for Tide...

Problem Solved and Fixed! It's amazing how much cooperation you'll get from a computer when you show it a sledge hammer and throw in a few choice threatening words to get it to work properly. LOL! Nah, all I did was used the repair mode in Windows 7 and it's working great now. However, I did...

Only thing that needed to be updated was Windows Silverlight. Can't do anything to adjust the memory usaage in BIOS (unless I'm totally missing something, but slightly doubt it). Called Acer about the problem. I could barely make out what the girl was telling me (she hardly spoke with a...

Because of a short windfall of money I came into, I decided to buy a new computer in mid-October. The computer is a display model I found at Office Depot. It's an Acer AX1430-UR12P. The processor is an AMD E-350 dual core, 500 GB hard drive, 4 GB of RAM (which can be upgraded to 8), and...

End Of Another American Food Icon - Hostess Bakery Shutting Down

Well... The Hostess outlets have closed down here in Springfield. The remaining items that were still on the shelves were given to the Salvation Army.

Pretty In Pink - the 1956 Frigidaire Imperial

WHOA! If that were a '56 model and in white, it would be identical to the one my family had when I was growing up.

End Of Another American Food Icon - Hostess Bakery Shutting Down

    >Wonder Bread was the primary sponsor for Howdy Doody. Another big promoter for Wonder Bread/Hostess products was Captain Kangaroo. Ann Blyth was also a spokesperson for them quite a few years as well.

    Baking Soda & Laundry?

I remember a few years back when Arm & Hammer was adverting baking soda with numerous liquid detergents for cleaner laundry (I think it was before they came out with their liquids. I do remember the animated Tide bottle having a picture of a hanging shirt/sheet on it).
