good machine here, and having a good look @ the pics, I've come 2 the conclusion that this is a 1990 model with some of the design changes, a look @ the date code on the sticker @ the back of the machine will prove things lol :)

yes it's true, the original drum in Hotpoint dryers had 4 small paddles with the fluff filter @ the back, but the compact models had a different design. It started out in the 1st Liberator of 1973, till it was replaced with front filter models in 1991, so that's the history of it 4 u :)

my 1st washer that I spent my childhood with was a Electra Microelectronic 6950E which is a rebadged Servis Quartz. It lasted 4 a good while and it did good spin-drains too. If I had it now, imagine the fun I could have with it lol :)

those poor washers, no wonder they went wrong the way they've been used, sounds like management is flawed in the place and couldn't give a damn about the machines breaking. I hope they get replaced pretty soon, I wouldn't want that 2 happen 2 me if I was working there lol :)

It's a rarity indeed, I haven't seen 1 in real life but it's in a 1998 Hotpoint Built-In brochure that I have along with many others lol, it must be 1 of the rarest Hottie's made, as ppl would natually go 4 the more common freestanding models lol :)

good dryer there, I'm sure it'll look as good as new soon, and working out the date code, it was made in February 1975 lol, it could do with a lick of paint and spares should still be available, so it shouldn't take too much work 2 get it looking good again :)

judging by it's appearance, this must be a shop exclusive model, don't know the exact model number but it looks like it was part of the New Generation range or was sold after they were replaced, I'm not sure if that helps but we'll get to the bottom of this :)

I like the Ipsos even though they're quite common lol, I of course like the Miele Professional machines and those from Schulthess, there's one @ my work rebranded a JLA6 which has a fun factor attached lol :)
