    GE clutch Yes these 2 speed clutches can be a pain to get apart. Years ago I used one on a homemade go cart. Can anyone explain how the variable speed one worked?

    I power flush mine. Fill sink with hot water turn on disposer pull stopper, sink will drain fast!! I think this helps to power flush the drain also.

    Is the motor carriage bound up? It has to slide to allow the belt to slip at the start of spin to allow for the pump out.

    Wow that looks like a direct drive compressor,  no belt. Never have seen one like it before.
