Hot synthetic washes (e.g. White Nylon 60)...

Hi everyone! I've posted this in the modern washer thread as I think this is a bit recent. In the past, there was a 60 degree synthetic wash (White Nylon, programme 3 in ITCL), but I think the programme was made redundant during the mid 90s as it stopped appearing on washing machines (e.g...

Really interesting hoover appliance videos for dealers! Crystaljet and Ecologic

the Ecologic link The best bit is when the crane is holding the Ecologic by its door and mentions the durability of the machine. If only machines were as durable as today.

Really interesting hoover appliance videos for dealers! Crystaljet and Ecologic

I saw this really interesting video on the Hoover Crystaljet, which I predict was made between (1986-1991), which was designed to be shown in stores to educate customers of the benefits of owning a dishwasher. I've not heard of the Super Crystaljet Deluxe, but it looks very smart for its time...

whoops sorry! I meant half load button not rinse hold! It can detect smaller loads and adjust water level automatically as part of the Aquarius wash system.

Hotpoint Aquarius Ultima 1400 AutoWasher 9566

I'm a longtime fan of this machine... I only wish my family bought this machine at the time! Superelectronic is right I think, the model number coincides with the year 1991 (9565 was the 1990 model I think, which would have been the first model range with the flush door), and the Aquarius...

    Phil Michell's Washer

washing machines on EastEnders @optima I'm sure the Hoover Six washing machine is still in the Vic, it seemed to survive the Vic fire alongside the oven as it's still there in Alfie and Kat's kitchen. So Max and Tanya still have their washing machine (I saw it once before in 2008) however...

    Interesting Hotpoint Intergreated washer...

... Yes it's a BW61, I think it is exactly the same as the Hotpoint 6240 but with the later WM branding, e.g. "AQUARIUS wash system plus". I think this model remained with the WM6* range until the new WMA's came out in 2000, with SMEG making Hotpoint's machine (BWD20)

Neff 5047- mystery machine, any info?

thanks for the replies... What an interesting read, I didn't know anything about nixie tubes, let alone their use in appliances before LEDs, looks smart as the programme selector. I'm not surprised that it may be a relative of Electrolux, it reminds me of a Zanussi setup with the buttons on the...

Neff 5047- mystery machine, any info?

bump... I wanted to also add that it slightly differs from Bosch/Siemens machines of that time as they had double doors (a decor door and a glass door) whereas this Neff has one door, which seems to be similar to Miele's of that time. Either this machine was created by Neff itself (possibly...

Neff 5047- mystery machine, any info?

This is probably the first time I've ever typed a model number of a particular washing machine and found NOTHING on it! I was browsing some Which reports of the past, when I saw the Neff 5047 washing machine, which looked interesting as it seems to be rather futuristic for the 70's (possibly...

    eBay UK September 2011 thread

... @newwave (Darren) I liked the range too, but a rather uncommon version, a relative had the later WM36 version with matching dishwasher, now replaced with a Bosch pair. This is the month of the Hotpoint Spin Slider, here is a great almond Hotpoint 9546 with noisy spin cycles though...

I'm so sorry i just had post this

This is getting a bit annoying Hoover, Candy, Indesit and Hotpoint all need to pull their fingers out and do a recall before someone gets killed! Obviously they've identified that machines made before September 2009 which should be the basis of recall, any machine made before this time...
