    Kenmore portable washer leaking

I had the same model and it also sprung a leak. It had 12 service calls prior to this so junked it and bought a new GE portable pair and they far excel the Kenmore.

    Bar Keepers Friend

Pete, I used to use ZUD also but it disappeared from the market. I happened to find it at my local Drug Mart last week in a smaller can. It is now being manufactured by the same company that bought the patent rights for Jubilee appliance polish. It is made here in Ohio. I find the new ZUD...

apt size wash and dry your opinion?

I have a GE set of portables that are great. They are more money than the Kenmore/Whirlpool models but they are bigger. I replaced my Kenmore's with these GE's. The washer has the water saver available that is supposed to only use as much water as the load requires but it does not use enough...

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

I went back to Drug Mart today and found the Jubilee on the shelf. It is 4.49 and they only had 3 bottles left. The shelves may be hard to keep stocked when people see that it is back. Just for info. Jim

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

I used the Jubilee on my fridge which is textured. I just polished it with a terry cloth and all of the polish came out of the design. I was afraid of it maybe not wiping off totally so tried the hidden side first. I have never used it on anything except appliances. Jim

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

I think I do have pretty good smeller recall. When I first opened it for a smell I felt it smelled more like auto polish. It definitely has a different smell than the old. However, it works just like the old and is so easy to use. So, I will use it and adjust my smeller to back a few...

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

I see that I never answered the question about smell. I don't think it smells like the old did but then memory may have something to do with that. It seems to smell more like an auto polish than the old did. It works just as well but seems to not have that lingering older smell. Jim

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

I saw this at the local Drug Mart store yesterday but no one knew what the price was as it just came in?????? Anyway, I think it may be available on the market now. I love what I got from Tom. It really makes white appliances shine. I will continue to check on its price. Jim

    What a dilemma

Hi Jeb, Thanks for the offer. I only have 4 and use them all. I will only use the new N once in awhile. I won't be having a problem anymore since the local management approved my getting another one. As I said way back, that is my special dispensation from the Pope LOL (glad you like my...

    What a dilemma

I do have renters ins that will cover any water mess I would make. And, you are right, it is upper management that employs the bitch who dug in. I am just glad to have Wilma May home and add her to my collection. It was the bitch's day to jump on someone when she was here and I got jumped on...

Just an update to let you all know the New N is here and works great. I brought her home last week and guess who helped me unload her and into the apartment??????????? The resident managers husband !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course local management has no problems with my collecting. He even used...

    Jubilee Kitchen Wax is back!

OK I have used the Jubilee that Tom got for us twice now. It works as I remember the old stuff did. It is very, very easy to use. I have only used it on appliances. Thanks again Tom for doing this for us !!! I gifted 2 of my bottles to two friends but have not talked with them about what...

Maytag, Ironrite, Bendix, GE Original Literature

I am pretty certain Robert would really like to have these brochures. I am in the process of sending him some for vintage wringer washers. He is a very busy guy right now so I have been lazy about getting a list made to send him. Just my opinion. Jim

    Finally

I wondered about doing this Mikeyd. It is certainly worth a try. Brad had a good idea about a hose extension that he uses on his. I am willing to try anything to avoid a flood again and use the pump. Thanks for all the info guys !! Best, Jim

    Finally

Now about this harem (however you spell it LOL). I am plum out of room at present to have more than my 4 gals. Having a new one really spoils you when you look at well used ones. However, would I pass up another great gal to bring home? I doubt it !!!!! Best, Jim

    Finally

Thanks Brad, I am going to Lowes today and will buy a section of hose. I will try anything once but will never try emptying with the pump again like Monday LOL. I wondered about using the pump after I had the hose hooked to it running down the floor drain. I was afraid it would overpower the...

    Finally

Well, Wilma May performed flawlessly on Monday. She just purred right along. I agree with you Mickeyd that the wringer worked better without the wrappers LOL. I found out in a big hurry tho that I can not use the pump to drain her. I wash in the kitchen and had one big mess. That pump works...
