THANK YOU!!!

I cannot tell you how glad I am to have an answer to that question at last, Jim. I really appreciate it.

Do you generally have good recall on smells and tastes? Some folks do, some don't. It's just the way we're put together, it's not something that can be taught.

A mile away

I remember Jubilee Wax - very popular; it had a pleasant smell; not sure if I could compare..

reminded of a McCartney tune, "Smile Away" (album RAM)...with a twist on lyrics

"..I was walking down the street the other day..I met a friend of mine and he did say,
can you smell my Jubilee....a mile away? (answer - on a hot day, you might! )

I think

I do have pretty good smeller recall. When I first opened it for a smell I felt it smelled more like auto polish. It definitely has a different smell than the old. However, it works just like the old and is so easy to use. So, I will use it and adjust my smeller to back a few decades and go for it LOL.

I too think the smell is milder than it used to be. (Used to smell more like Turtle wax). I have only used it on the dishwasher front at this time. I am going to do the washer an dryer when I get a few. . . .

I am kind of afraid to use it on the refrigerator because it's a textured surface and I am afraid I will be polishing all the little cracks for weeks.

The new stove has a glass front and glass top, so it's a pass, my other place to try is the shower. Mom always polished the shower walls with Jubilee and the water just ran off and no streaks or spots. Note: Turtle wax also does a good job on the shower, but it requires a lot more work polishing and buffing.

I used

the Jubilee on my fridge which is textured. I just polished it with a terry cloth and all of the polish came out of the design. I was afraid of it maybe not wiping off totally so tried the hidden side first. I have never used it on anything except appliances.

I

went back to Drug Mart today and found the Jubilee on the shelf. It is 4.49 and they only had 3 bottles left. The shelves may be hard to keep stocked when people see that it is back. Just for info.

Wringer, thanks for the info on the textured steel results. Texture not only hides fingerprints it hoards grime at one time it was an upscale feature. I think it will go the way of the continuous cleaning oven. alr2903
