I am sitting here watching some recorded episodes of "Bewitched". I am wondering, after they remodeled Samantha's kitchen, why were all of the appliances no longer Frigidaire? I see that "Derwood" continued to drive a Chevrolet but they no longer used GM Frigidaire appliances. Any ideas?

I have a vivid memory from my childhood of my Grandmother ("Granny") tossing 2 Salvo discs in her Frigidaire washer while doing laundry. Always remembered that & have longed for a detergent like that as an adult.

Thanks Jon I am guessing the repair manual is on the "Manuals" area of the site.    Also, where does one look for that bearing & the seal?  I saw a couple of bellows on Craigs List.  Was going to check the parts list to see if they were for the 1-18.
