    Countertop Dishwashers?

I'm going off to college and I was wondering how easy it would be to hide such a machine? (Dishwashers are prohibited per terms of housing agreement.) I've never seen one in person and was unsure as to dimensions, weight, etc.

    Dishwasher water starved need help/advice

Agreeing with MattL In May of last year we got the top-of-the-line GE Profile with integrated controls and one-month detergent tank and never looked back. SmartDispense on purchase looked like a gimmick but appears to ration detergent well. We never have a problem with this dishwasher.

Which washer would best fit this odd situation?

I'm starting college as a freshman next year. My dorm will be a four bedroom two bath apartment sharing a common living area and kitchenette, and the laundry is very well equipped with new Maytags. (I guess WP) The dorm rules specifically say no dishwashers, washers, or dryers though.

    Two Washers

THIS CRACKED ME UP. Mary seemed kind of bemused at the end though.

Always good to have an extra machine around to mod I guess http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/2011/02/11/white-trash-repairs-appropriate-place-for-that-beer/

    Magic Chef of the 90's!

About a year ago we stayed in a beach house (actually a duplex) with two DU4Ks. They were both very capable.

    GE tall tub

We got a PDWT500RBB Profile tall tub in May and are extremely impressed. No prerinsing, ever, and normal wash with no enhancements unless it's a special occasion.

Speed Queen washers and dryers for sale

Did Amana sell a rebadged version of this machine in the 90's? They look very similar one my aunt owned.

What would you all suggest for a FL

We are VERY satisfied with our Samsung 4.5 cu. ft. FL washer, but the matching dryer is just average.

Kenmore Electronic 90 series set has to go

Is there a story behind the jaundiced whirlpool compact FL in the front of the shot? I know it's a gawdawful machine as a condo we stayed in at the beach once had one but they are interesting to watch.

    People are so stupid

Ran across this on Lifehacker... normally I enjoy their little tidbits but the last tip in this post reminded me of the stupidity of humanity. http://lifehacker.com/5504855/from-the-tips-box-privacy-policies-free-hangers-and-cleaning-dishes/

    Ralph's resto

My parents own the push-button version of this machine and we all hate it with a fiery passion- dishes have to be completely clean before they can be put in the dishwasher. There's something wrong with the bottom wash arm, where it makes a horrible scraping noise when you turn it with your hand-...

The one, the only Tower of Shower

Bajaespuma, I have the same dishwasher in my house and it is a POS. It probably worked great at one point but now dishes have to be COMPLETELY and TOTALLY clean before they are put in the machine. I'm looking to replace it with one of those GE Profile Tall Tubs with a SS interior. Pics if...

    My Find For The Day

Wow, finally an intelligent Craigslist poster: He correctly named the brand of both machines, noted that the dryer was gas (not the washer lol), and was correct in identifying their ages, as well as showing decent images (i.e., more than one, not taken with a cell phone). Nice find too.

    Magic Chef/Maytag problem

Apparently receiving a phone call within 2 feet of a Magic Chef gas range will set the oven to high broil. http://www.1010wins.com/1010-WINS-Exclusive--A-B-klyn-Man-s-Kitchen-Surpri/5016882

I've read this forum for a long time, and joined because I found the following page. I always thought it would be interesting to try this: http://randsco.com/index.php/2008/12/19/high_up_low_down
