Ok, ok, I finally got one!!!!

I picked up a classic this morning- while dumpster diving. Of course I only weigh @ 138 lbs (skinny little thing), but I got it in the back of my Chevy wagon, which is also a classic & can hold appliances, so I guess I should hang onto it for awhile. It's a washer I've been looking for....I'm so...

Pillow cases: how often do you wash 'em?

Stubborn beagle....need I say more? The other day, my daughter did't eat more than 4 bites of a 6" Subway Tuna sandwich. The dog got the rest. Guess where he decided to throw it up (the first time)? Under my bed. Gross! Luckily, the second time, we made it outside. At least it wasn't on the bed!

Pillow cases: how often do you wash 'em?

Let me rephrase that. It needed to be changed, but in the morning, the dog threw up on it. By afternoon, the cat also puked on some clothes that were in the room. Hint, hint, trying to tell me something?

self service dry cleaning Whirlpool also had them in the form of Polyclean Centers in the mid-late 60's. Laundromat & dry cleaning. Cool place to hang out! I bet you'd get that sunshine feeling in a Philco dry cleaner. The smell alone would do it! Jerry

Ask the (wo)man who OWNS one......

License Plates in CT We in Ct went back to the 2 plate system a few years ago. For awhile, you could get away with one on the rear bumper, which spawned a whole slew of custom knock-offs for the front plate area, like "I love my car", "Disco Queen", "Disco Sucks", CT Mama, etc. Jerry

    Bamberger's

I think it's Gimbels too! I think so too. Gimbels flagship store in NYC was located across the street from Macy's at 34th ST. Later on, it became E. J. Korvette, a discount chain. Not sure if it was owned by Gimbels though. Closed in the early 80's. Later became the Herald Square Mall, with...
