Just home from what Australians would call an "appliance store crawl". I was surprised to see a Whirlpool 10kg ??Duet(not labelled as such) washer for $AU3499. It seemed like a lot of money even given the exchange rate.

re twintubs its my observation that country and regional stores stock more twinnies than in the city. Guess country folk are more set in their ways and reactionary than those in the "big smoke".
