Gay marriage in NYS While I am hopeful this will pass and become law, I have my doubts. There are several Republicans, AND Democrats who are prepared to block this in the state Senate. They used that tactic last time around when Spitzer tried to legalize gay marriage. Fingers crossed though....=)
