Hi everyone,
I don't post in this forum very often but today I need your help. My daughter Amanda will be deployed to Afghanistan at the end of this month. She is a Corporal with the United States Marines stationed at Cherry Point North Carolina. If you all would please keep her and her platoon plus all the other soldiers overseas in your thoughts and prayers. Today has been a rough one for my wife and I as she just left St. Louis to fly back to NC. This was her last visit home before she is deployed. Needless to say it has been an emotional day for our family but we are so proud of her and the accomplishments she has made.
Thank you everyone.........We pray for her safety and the safety of all the men and women serving in the armed forces.

Support needed? DONE!

Please convey my (and my family's) love, thanks and support for her service to our country and to you and your wife for sharing her with our country. Sounds like you've got yourself one hell of a daughter! Positive thinking, the power of prayer and knowing that we have their (and their family's) backs here at home are a few of the things that will see her and her brothers and sisters in the military safely thru their tours of duty and guide them home.

I will definately add her to my prayers I already have for the many men and women who are over there. Be strong and think positive. I can't say I know what it's like to have to face someone in my family going over there so I won't say that I do. I probably can't even imagine. Just remember we are all here for you and your daughter will be back home with you and your wife before you know it. Lots of love and prayers for you Mark.

Your pride for Amanda is justified; I'm also praying for her safe return and expressing my admiration for her and her fellow soldiers in these difficult times. May they all come home safely, mission accomplished at last.
 
Done and done without question or hesitation. Amanda is doing a great and noble thing. We owe a great to these unselfish folks who put their country before themselves. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
