the timer.... ive found to be one of the more noisy components, it makes you jump as it advances on with its loud click...probably the pump is starting to wear after all these years, even though it pumps out 100% it is quite noisy once its running clear of water.

Have to agree with the points mentioned above, still, nothing like a good old Indesit Company product or modern Servis machine to "liven" up the day.
