So I finally got through the HE Liquid Tide from when I bought my machine awhile back and decided to switch to powder. I'm somewhat disappointed with the Tide powder...its smells NOTHING like the "Original Scent" liquid. What gives here? Because its powder? Aaron

Well.... Because its more then likely a neutral drain for the first minute or so.....when you open the lid it interrupts the cycle and thus releases the basket. You'd be surprised at how many people think they have a broken machine because they don't understand the concept of neutral drain. Aaron
