OMG! A Dishwasher with a Window

I'd want one... If they could find a way to make a completely see through glass door, with a "knock, knock" open, like the miele. Oooh. How Marvelous that'd be. Although... I'd probably pre-rinse everything to death, out of fear of company seeing dirty dishes inside the thing, lol.

Can't Delete Google Chromium

First - Run this tool. It could be a addon, causing problems with the uninstallation. https://www.google.com/chrome/srt/ Afterwards... You can remove Google Chrome like any other Windows program. <h4 style="margin: 8px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-weight: 500...

First wash in TSPP

STPP Also aids in removing, built up detergent & soap residue in fabrics significantly softening them. It's really noticeable on bed & bath linens. And who doesn't love soft linens? ;) The key is... you can USE too much. So, dose carefully. And don't use it all at once. It's a magic...

Importance of enzymes?

RE - Charlies Soap. I've heard really good things about it, for those laundering in soft water. That said... the product itself, doesn't contain water softening agents, or there so limited they don't really have a chance to soften water. So... if you have Hard Water. I'd recommend, adding...

Importance of enzymes?

Is Tide Worth the extra money? That's something, none of us can really answer. Only you can, really decide what'll work best. That said. It's probably not a bad idea, to keep a half-full bottle, on hand at all times, for heavily soiled loads & pretreating. :-)
Also. Try...

In search of a Windows 8 driver for a Lexmark 7300 all-in-one printer/scanner

Re - Banks Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi ... and a lot of other large and small financial institutions refuse to make the switch. It's also worth noting, that *most* atm's in the united states still & will continue to run on Windows XP. It's a lightweight, resource efficient...

In search of a Windows 8 driver for a Lexmark 7300 all-in-one printer/scanner

RE - 8 vs XP. I'd have to respectfully disagree. Windows XP, if you had Service Pack 1 or Later installed... was extremely stable, and problem free. Quite honestly, the only *real* problem with XP, that I can truly think of... is the lack of Internet Explorer support. A lot of websites...

In search of a Windows 8 driver for a Lexmark 7300 all-in-one printer/scanner

This thread is fascinating... Because... Microsoft has thrown a kazillion pamphlets & literature and one of the things, they've touted most is driver support and compatibility with legacy products. *Supposedly* if you have valid .inf files for a peripheral/device, Windows will make it...

Curious.. Are we talking about the original "original scent" Or the P&G "GoGoBoy Inspired Night with a touch of Sweet Bubble Gum Twist" Fragrance they replaced the original scent with? Oy. I'm still trying to get over the latter. The old scent smelled so clean, so classic, <span...

black light phosphate test

*Raises Hand* I tend to carry around a Black Light... while traveling. Oh... the tells I could talk about. I won't go off topic. But I'll say this. Higher End Chains are *NO* cleaner than your run-of-the-mill Hilton or Holiday Inn.

Funny It's a statistical fact that wealthy shoppers rave about the pampering they receive at upscale retailers like Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor and Barneys. But here’s a question to ponder: How often do wealthy shoppers actually shop in those stores? Turns out, not a whole lot—or so a new...

boil out uses 101

It's funny You mention that. If I recall correctly, Fisher & Paykel recommended using a powder dishwasher detergent with phosphates to clean your washer every 6 months. I always wondered what they recommended after the ban on phosphates. But.. since they approved it for use in their...

Persil doesn't = Purex Just look at the ingredients. Purex honestly could be considered by some to just be as effective as plain old water. Persil contains a strong Enzyme cocktail in all their variations. Not to mention, the Oxygen Bleaching system found in the Powder. Their just not...

Using STPP

One should always keep in mind.. That STPP is considered by the FDA to be a Food Additive. The Same goes for TSP as well. STPP is used heavily in Fish Packing & Processing. And TSP can even be found in Cheerios. The ingredient itself...

cascade with phosphates question

I wouldn't put anything into your... Stash, if it was just acquired. You've got to remember, that Detergent is probably at least 5-6 years old. And Powder Detergents have a relatively short shelf life. I'd start using up that Detergent now. As... it's cleaning isn't going to get any better...

Missing RAM after a call from a "Microsoft" tech

Missing RAM after a call from a "Microsoft" tech

Well... If you know what's coming your way... generally you know the initial signs, and will be able to pick up on it early. And while... most people won't admit it. If you're connected to the Internet... you're on a network, and a very large network at that. Before Windows XP, most people...

Missing RAM after a call from a "Microsoft" tech

For what it's worth... I am employed by a Financial Institution, working within the IT Helpdesk. And our biggest struggle is currently Malware attacks. I'm not trying to be critical of "higher education" but... alas, almost everything being taught is for a old market, old landscape of...
