Well, in putting some programs back on my computer last night, I somehow missed unchecking one of those damn boxes that installs Chrome. I went into Control Panel and did an uninstall on it, and it disappeared from the list, but for some reason it keeps coming back up when I do a restart or turn the computer on. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this completely? I've used it before and really don't care for it.

When you say Chromium

are you talking about the web browser Google Chrome? There can be a problem uninstalling if you have somehow set Chrome as your "default" browser when it installed? If it's set as default and you go to uninstall it, it may not uninstall. I found this it may help if you scroll down some to read different way to uninstall it.

First - Run this tool. It could be a addon, causing problems with the uninstallation.

Afterwards...

You can remove Google Chrome like any other Windows program.

Did the browser come packaged with other software on your computer? If so, your version of Google Chrome may be installed system-wide and you'll need to log in to a user account with administrative rights on your computer to uninstall the browser. Uninstalling a system-wide version of Google Chrome removes the browser for all user accounts on your computer.
