What Detergents Are You Lot Using In Your Vintage DWs?

Laundress I had the same problem, with Cascade Complete, on our new Bosch. It's the rinsing & shine agents, built into the phosphate formula. Reduce the dosing to 1 Tablespoon. Yes 1 Tablespoon. If warranted, you can add a teaspoon of CC to...

What is your Favorite Detergent/Cleaner Scent?

Fresh Rapids Scent I have quite a few Cascade Complete boxes, with that exact scent. I too, like it very much lol. I actually *have* some orange scent Electrasol Powder, I'll have to give it a sniff. I just recently discovered Tide with Febreze (Spring & Renewal) and have started a form of...

Do you use a Rinse Aid?

@Berry Cascade Complete comes out on top, fighting film & hard water buildup considerably better than Finish Quantum. Finish Powerball was shown, to leave a considerable residue after about 28 washes. According to CR.

Updated Whirlpool Dishwashers released on website

"American" Junk Is more like it. A Bosch can use even less water, get dishes cleaner, in even less time. It also heats water, to temperatures actually possible of killing bacteria. Not a Wimpy 105* :P

Sears "burning money" & closing stores

I haven't shopped at Kmart or Sears in years. Wanna know why? Kmart is just so horribly depressing. The store looks like it's caught up in a 1980's time warp, and is full out outdated, just, unwanted stuff. Really. There are still Launch Day Xbox 360's from 2005, still in our K-Mart, and...

    Amazing TIDE bargains, etc

When I was writing that.. I meant to say, don't, or shouldn't, when talking about the liquids. Goodness, I've got to learn to proofread. That Coldwater Liquid, when I used the HE bottle, is suds city, I can't even imagine the suds from the non-he. If you can't use it up, you may wanna...

    Amazing TIDE bargains, etc

It's been a while, since I've really looked. But, IRRC, All Tide Liquids, not labeled HE, do or shouldn't contain suds suppressors. As for Tide Powder. I think, almost all the "Ultra" Powder variations contain, suds suppressors, including Original Tide. The Tide HE variations, however...

    Amazing TIDE bargains, etc

I was there last night... No P&G Acres in sight, unless you wanted the darn liquid. Eh. As it turns out, people of Charlotte, really love Powder Detergent. As the Ollies, I went to, actually sells more Powder detergent than Liquid.. (according to a manager, when I asked, if he could check...

    Corning, Corelle, and Pyrex thread

I must say.. Robert's a lucky man. Anyhow. I wish I could find one of those baking & serving trays. I think it'd be cool when I'm preparing 40+ Cookies. Also, in Pic 4, in the right bottom corner, are those corningware pop ins?

    Amazing TIDE bargains, etc

Yeah.. Pretty much, all versions of Tide with Bleach (including the vivid white line) contain sud suppression agents in the form of silicone. Of course, the HE labeled versions have slightly more stronger amounts, but they both do practically the same thing. I'd start off with Line 1 (if...

Has anyone been to Ollie's Recently? Has anyone been to Ollie's Recently? I'm going to be very, close to many in a few days, and would like to know, if they still have tons & tons of Tide Powder on hand. I'd don't care if it's french or spanish labeled. I just want to find myself some...

    Noooooooooooooooo!

Was the words I cried, when I opened a new box of Tide Powder, purchased from Walmart, yesterday. The moment I opened the box this very unappealing, strong, and not to mention horrible sweet scent hit me in the face. Now, those who know me well, know I *do* like the scent of Ariel. But...

    Anyone else seen this one?

Oxiclean Contains an agent called "OTOH", that helps it activate at very low temperatures. Technically it should even activate in Cold Water. However, for very effective whitening (such as that compared to Chlorine Bleach) it needs very long cycle times (in hot water of course) (40 Minutes+)...

    Anyone else seen this one?

I've been noticing this, has been getting a lot of air time, the past week. I was wondering what everyones thoughts were. I've noticed that oxiclean, isn't really effective at all on food stains, or in my case, cleaning up kitchen towels.
