    Lenor Unstoppable Beads

Oooooh... What'd I do to try those ;)    In case you're wondering though, here in the United States. P&G gives us Downy, instead of Lenor.. and we have a similar product called, Downy Unstopables. It's sold a in-wash scent booster, and only enhances the scent of finished laundry, it doesn't...

Proctor & Gamble To Exit 90 to 100 Brands

My question is... I wonder what Clorox will do to Cascade, when that sale goes through. Do you think the formulas will be, redone?

Whirlpool Duet Sanitize cycle test: Dirty socks

@lakewebsterkid I'm not completely sure what happened. But, I'd have to agree, those socks do not look like they were washed at all.    I'm curious, have you tried that, "whitest whites" cycle by chance?

    Kitchen Aid dishwasher detergent

Kitchenaid In case you're curious, has a marketing agreement with Procter & Gamble. And Cascade, should be stamped on the detergent cup, along with a small decal, on the top door panel.    The newer Cascade Actionpacs, do perform very well, in case you're wondering.

    Corning, Corelle, and Pyrex thread

And this was my latest find... A Corningware Royal Buffet, serving tray, and actual serving dish. BRAND NEW, IN THE BOX :D for $3.    Somedays, I really do get lucky :)

    Corning, Corelle, and Pyrex thread

Well... Until I can take the time to set everything out.. I guess this will just have to do :) Keep in mind, this is a photo from last year, and I've picked up a servile more pieces here & there. Also, I didn't have a really nice camera at the time, so I apologize for the blurriness.    I...

    Corning, Corelle, and Pyrex thread

@bluejay I have been looking for a set of cinderella mixing bowls for a while. Specifically, I'd like to find the blue amish pattern. I have seen bits & pieces of bowels, but, not exactly whole sets, or, anything matching. I'd just really like that blue amish pattern, I think it's just...

    iMac has died ...

One wonders What your really worried about. Not to be mean, but, none of these technicians give a damn honestly about your personal life, or your files on your computer. There paid $8 an hour, or even less sometimes, and depend on commision. They don't have time to snoop, because their too busy...

HELP! New dishwasher not dissolving powder detergent!

I used to own a Kenmore Ultrawash... And the Prewash lasts exactly 14 minutes. After that, it drains, and refills for the main wash, the heating element kicks on, and the detergent tray pops open (it's a loud click) and the wash arms start.    I kinda wonder, if you were waiting long enough...

    Laundress told us...

Why not...? With P&G's Tide, Simply Clean... now offering attractive detergent, at a lower cost point to consumers (the goal of Era) I don't see a marketing purpose of keeping it around.

    Laundress told us...

That the days of a P&G Color Care detergent was coming.. and it finally did. To be honest, I was quite frankly surprised that they didn't re-introduce this formula under their old-beloved cheer brand, however, I do understand that there in the process of phasing that brand out, so I guess the...

    Price of Tide, Going Down?

I was at Lowes Foods today And they had 32/20 load bottles for $3.99. I picked up one, with a $2 off coupon, making it a $2 bottle, or .16 cents a load.    That's not bargain brand price, but, imo, that's a pretty awesome deal. I really do think, even though it's not pennies a load, it's very...

HELP! New dishwasher not dissolving powder detergent!

Just wondering.. Have you tried Cascade Liquid Gel, or Cascade Complete Gel? Both have been wonderful, strong performers in my experience, and are very affordable per load, and I never have to worry about dissolving issues.

    Price of Tide, Going Down?

I've been to a couple of stores, the past few days, and have noticed that the once $12 - $16 bottles, are now like $9.87, and $9.99.    These aren't sale prices, these are prices that have been "reset" or "repriced" :)    Maybe it really is a temporary thing, but, I'd say it's a good sign. :)

    Ecolab Solid Power XL

Keep in mind.. I was given no instruction or help in using this thing, so, I pretty much, went along with what I've read about the operation from online manuals.   I pre-soaked all the silverware, and ran them thru twice. Soaked off all the nasty sugary gunk off the glasses & presoaked the...

    Ecolab Solid Power XL

I... Admittingly, I have no idea what the model was. I *do* know the water temperature was in the 148* Range, when I started, and I think the water heater was set to 160. There was a *low temp* sanitizer, bucket under the counter, so, I guess the final rinse temp wasn't too important, as long...

    Ecolab Solid Power XL

This stuff is super awesome. I mean, it's Phosphate Free, and it actually works, on super short cycles.    I spent the whole night loading a commercial machine, only scraping food off plates, and everything came out looking wonderful. I even did 12+ loads of baked on, burnt on cheese sauce...

    Bubble Bandit

(BB) It's okay.. I've found it leaves a lot of food residue on things, if not pre-rinsed. The silverware & glasses were pretty damn shiny though :)
