    omg who is next!!!

Rapunzel Oh I am only too aware that water is being wasted by business, and that home use is only a fraction. Still I hate to waste water. I collect the water that is sitting in dishes and put it in the garden. I hate it when I see that people still hose their concrete driveways. I once had a...

vintage top loading washing machines Front loaders can be vintage too. I look at this website because I like washing machines of all kinds, top and front, twin tubs too. I am also interested to see what people use in other countries around the world. And it is not Chicken Little syndrome. In...

Hoover Cadet top load washer near me!

I never new Automatic Hoover laundry appliances were sold in North America. Well not since those Blackstone machines. They are real cuties these machines. They are a minature of the full size Hoover at the time which makes then even cuter.

    omg who is next!!!

Agitators indeed! Goodness! Is there no end to people? So a washing machine has to have an agitator for us to be talking about it, and the rest of us should be eternally grateful that we are allowed to mention anything else. What about those top loaders with impellers could we talk about those...

    Haier Washer and Dryer

This was also badged as a Conia. In NZ I think it also wore the name of Telmann.

    Briefs or Boxers

Without wanting to be indiscret, what on earth do people see in going commando? I once tried it, and another time I had to when I left my bag containing my underwear at home, and I did not like it at all. Not only is their the potential for your jeans or whatever to get dirty but there is the...

    Haier Washer and Dryer

The agitator is very similar to an F and P but it is different. The bottom vanes on the Haier are fixed to the base where as on the F and P they are flared out. This is also a reversing clutch gearbox machine, not a direct drive.

    Miele W4000 series in Australia

Nathan I was looking the German Miele website and started to think the same thing. Maybe we will get the W6ooo models which would have much more showroom appeal. No doubt here they will be marketed as 7.5 kg. Apparently, from an old Miele brochure, the 6.0kG drum is 57 litres.

    Miele W4000 series in Australia

Hi all, do any of my Aussie friends know about the Miele 4000 series? I have noticed that they have disappeared from stores and are no longer listed on the website. Does anyone know if this line has been dropped for the purposes of simplification in a time of less spending, or if new models...

Big Changes At Frigidaire: No TL'ers/Big Dryer Drum

And the all important money shot This works by recirculating the water and having a minimum amount of water in the outer tub. Not entirely disimilar to a GE minitub. It should work in theory but many people seem to be complaining about streaks of residue over their clothes. I wonder if this is...

    omg who is next!!!

Fridigaire top loaders, from what I understand, are not quality long lasting appliances either. I just wish more people would understand about how important water conservation is. If you lived in Australia where now we face almost permanent water restrictions, you would not be complaining. I...

    Retro Servis

Oooh how nice is this? Considering that retro style Fridges are popular, I am surprised no one has ever considered a retro washing machine. It wouldn't be hard to slap on a little bit of chrome and some large, winged knobs. White on white can get so dull sometimes.

    Kleenmaid in difficulties

From what I understand, St George and Kleenmaid parted ways some time ago. I think you can buy St George at Winning Appliances. I remember that little Kleenmaid top load front load, it was a sweet little machine. I am actually surprised that no one else has offered such a machine after Bendix...

WOW! I am shaking with excitement too. I saw the Human League in concert last night and then I log onto Automatic Washer and see this! Beautiful machine indeed. So sad to see that Hoover is no longer going to be making these Welsh machines any more. All this and Roberts Apex its been an...
