New Hotpoint's Without Eco Wash Launched (FUTURA)

I've got to say i'm loving this new FUTURA range. As many have already said the cold eco washes weren't something i'd ever use as temperatures can be below 15oc with our climate. Glad to hear it still uses the powersteam/ distribution wash system :) My old Hotpoint Aquarius WMA58 uses the...

Our New machine - LG 7kg DD f/load

Glad to hear you like your LG washing machine. I know some people slate LG, however having hands on experience with 2 LG machines in the family with me using them daily I think they're good pieces of kit. Especially our LG steam 9kg 1400rpm F1479FDS5, doesn't 'faff; around to baalnce loads...

    Advice needed.

Hey If you have an ultima wmd something then you can change the language on it, we did that on a family friends wmd942k as I selected italian by accident upon installation! I rang hotpoint and the kind woman told me to press some buttons etc and I got it set to english :) Good luck with...

    Zanussi tumble dryers

Hey Loving the drum and lifters on your zanussi tumble dryer :) As to sheets getting into duvet covers, i've had that happen once or twice in the washing machine and the tumble dryer so decided to button my duvet covers up before putting the wash on so nothing manages to get inside the duvet...

    Broken Handle

My cosin has the HNL 7146. Same machine with 1400rpm spin. I was talking to her one afternoon whilst she was emptying her wash and she snapped the door handle with normal force! It was repaired as she has got extended cover on it. It is flimsy, so they're bound to break easily.

    Ebay UK April 2012

The Hotpoint WMS38 was still a standard 5.5kg washing machine as with the WMA30's. We had a WMA58 6kg with the powerstream wash system which is still in daily use at aunts, no problems whatsoever apart from a wire coming loose which was fixed by myself. They were one of the last WMA series...

    hoover dynamic

LG F1479FDS5 It says Made in Korea on ours. I like the look of LG washing machines, well it sure does make a statement in the kitchen! The chrome door isn't available anymore on the steam washing machines as they have the door with the black tint.

The New LG TrueSteam is here!

The cutting out of the drain pump is normal, it has a sensor and ata certain point cuts out and as the clothes/duvet distributes tumbles and releases water it drains it and so on. Its more apparent on heavy/unbalanced loads. Majority of the time the machine handles the loads very well, never...

The New LG TrueSteam is here!

Congratulations on your new purchase! Hope you're getting on well with the LG F1479FDS5. As you can see from my picture I have the exact same washing machine, its 9 months old now! The only difference being mine doesn't have smart diagnosis as it was only introduced a few months ago. However, I...

    HOTPOINT ULTIMA'S

I have experience of using a washing machine from this range, the model being the WMUD942G which is a really good washing machine. Regarding the graphite colour, hotpoint does state in their brochures that the graphite colour may vary a little from machine to machine. Its a bit like when buying...

    AEG _LAVAMAT 6100 DIGITRONIC

Congratulations on your new find! An amazing machine you have there. Looks to be in good condition too :) As to the leak, hmmm you could try checking if the sump has came loose, maybe the retaining band isn't tight enough. Hope it gets sorted

    Hi Everyone

Hi John :) Welcome to automaticwasher I grew up with a hotpoint 9534, was an amazing machine. Loved the spin ramp on the final spin from distribution to 1000rpm. Siemens, nice machines your mother has there :)

    Hotpoint WMA58 not heating

Hey Yeah, I was determined to get it fixed as its a really good machine that does a few loads every day and has been working very well for the last 8 years. The hotpoint was our second washing machine when we first had our dyson then gave it up as my aunts machine broke. I prefer this over the...

    Hotpoint WMA58 not heating

Got round to opening the Hotpoint up today. Checked all wiring, and there was a purple and green wire that had broke which connected to the board behind the control panel. Got it connected after some work with wire strippers etc and hey its heating up to the correct temperatures :)

    Hotpoint WMA58 not heating

Hello all I replaced the heating element on the Hotpoint WMA58 a few weeks ago. However it still isn't heating :( The wires all seem fine that connect to the heating element itself. Could it be the opposite end connections of the wires being loose or something? If so, where are the opposite...
