No freon Yeah, I have to say I was pretty pissed off when the tech showed me the broken copper tube.  He was just dumbfounded by the mess that was made of my refrigerator. He even offered to help me take him to small claims court. I was also pissed to find out the "new" compressor was used...

No freon Had a local repair shop out to look at the fridge. Apparently, there is no freon in the fridge. One of the tubes to the compressor is broken. I hadn't even noticed it was broken otherwise I would never have turned it on! I just bit the bullet and now everything is going to be replaced...
