there were .... ...no gas dryers that I know of from this era , or this design- period- not until the 60's   the sellers are mistaken....

moisture sensor... ...setting is what I use on the WP (I found behind a store some years ago), during the winter- I line dry during the summer, its only for two people-

motor pully this is what it can look like- I have wondered about using the newer slider clutch pully, but I have not found a belt to fit it, & the rpms the tub makes might be different

a vote.... ...it would be interesting to see just which brand is more popular - I agree each to his own- but which one? Whirlpool, or GE? I also liked the post that mentioned Admiralpool-ha ha!

pump stuff you will see a bolt that the holds the tranny to the tub assembly on your rite side- its used to lessen or increase tension somewhat on the motor to trans belt- you can turn it & the tranny will move just slightly enough to get the belt on the pully-as to the noise you are hearing, I...

I think.... you should replace the whole dishwasher with a standard Whirlmore one, with the powerfilter pump in it- I never liked the GE units anyway......

...no...it is a... Tappan- with that stupid wash arm attached to the ceiling of the tank - stupid place for it......nothing to wash <span style="text-decoration: underline;">up</span> from under the top rack!

I think it is... called  a Streamliner  RL-1....I cannot see the timer on the rear partion of the tub-the light is not bright enough.
