The KitchenAid dishwasher in Ruth's kitchen was replaced by a D&M Magic Chef unit.... Is it the same age as the KA one ?....sad that it was changed with something like that but I'm also remembering the other thread about D&M units....

I have always loved Westinghouses...I've had the opportunity to see even earlier ones I thought didn't exist nowadays. Yeah, they tangled, got suds locked easily, and had dramatic off balance spins, but I grew up with one, so they r a special part of my past. I have a bunch of 50's Laundromats...

Unless it was vented out of the rear, there is a lint drawer/ basket in the lower right or left corner of the black toe-plate on the front of the dryer cabinet. The unit looks like a D8 , which was probably manufactured between 1954-1956
