I feel slightly better knowing that its just not my machine or my imagination. It doesnt matter how much is in the machine, it does it for every wash. I dont know if its a sound that the machine would typically make after "break-in" or as you said indicative of a problem.

Warm Rinse Yes it does. If you choose WARM/WARM the final rinse will be warm in every cycle. All other rinses are cold.

Water level I was going to ask if you raised the water level. I watched your videos on YT that showed the full wash cycle for the white towels. My owners manual for my Kenmore does not have any information about how much water it uses, so I cant compare them.

Oh one more thing When considering a dryer for a washer, you have to take into consideration the capacity of the washer. The SQ FL'er is a 2.84 cu ft. My Kenmore is a 2.7 cu ft, so my current dryer will not have issue with my load sizes. Hope this helps!
