Commercials are one of the reasons I decided never to watch raw television.  I would always record the show on a digital recorder, go back and remove the commercials, then watch the program.  If it was a 1/2 show, it took me about 4 minutes to remove the commercials and that left about 21-22...

Thanks for the information. I kind of suspected that. I've done a little research on that and that is what I've found, too. I want to keep the water from clogging my appliances AND I want soft water. The compact, electronic system would be nice, but, it won't work for me. It is just myself...

Having an R.O. system is an excellent product. Once you get a water softener, it will help keep the filters in the R.O. system from plugging up as quick as they will.

These are a unique design, for sure. Have there been issues with the timer console coming loose? It just seems like the metal is all one piece, cast iron or aluminum.  bumping it the wrong way, I would think it would snap off.  Even moving the machine, I would be afrain of bumping that...

Our neighbors had that set in H.G.  But, this Poppy set is even more rare.

The set I bought my parents had the Extra Rinse toggle to the right of the timer, just as shown in the picture.  I had never seen that and thought it was rather unique.  She had that pair for 10 years with only one repair to the washer basket, which came loose from the spin tube.
