LG washer problems... already! Not sure wtd.

I second to any WP built front load. I owned an WFW72HEDW (updated model: WFW75HEFW). I owned that washer for 3 years and it never experienced any problems where it needed parts replaced. The washer was straight forward and could clean anything I threw at it. We left it behind when it reached 3...

LG washer problems... already! Not sure wtd.

There is a method to "reset" the board. Unsure if this would work but I think giving it a try is worth it.

LG washer problems... already! Not sure wtd.

I got the WM4370, and infact I was also going to get the 3770 but I just got a better deal on the 4370 so I got that. It's been working fine for us since the day we installed it (July 11 2018). Loads i've done WITH turbowash have clocked in at 29-30 minutes and seems consistent. Loads WITHOUT...

    LG Front Load Question

I did try that with a very small load before on this washer and the nozzles did appear to work without dying down. LorainFurniture's video of his WM3770 has to be the closest model to my WM4370 in terms of capacity and revision. His unit appeared to not only have a longer spin cycle but also the...

    LG Front Load Question

I think maybe the loads i'm washing are too small for this thing LOL. When it saturates the load, it compacts it so much that its easily only filling 1/4 of the tub where as I've seen videos of this thing performing with probably more than what I put in..which would then explain it would...

    LG Front Load Question

I think for the most part yes. I've only used Normal for the most part and bulky/large for comforters and turbowash appears to work fine on that.

    LG Front Load Question

The detergent does not suds up to a visible point at all (Tide HE Turbo Powder). This washer is still very new so I don't think the filter has anything inside of it. In the last 3-5 minutes of the main wash, it adds cold water to use as a cool down and then the nozzles appear to spray at full...

    LG Front Load Question

I've been using the LG WM4370HKA for a couple weeks now. I like it for the most part. I think the rinse is truly reminiscent of Maytag Neptunes with the drum turning and making the water flow through the outer tub to clear out the suds. But one thing does bug me a little, the turbowash sprayers...

    Time For a New Washer!

Both Units Arrived! Today, the LG WM4370HKA and DLEX4370K were delivered. Didn't fully hook them up yet but I must say, both these units look amazing still. I removed the shipping bolts from the washer which was a little confusing at times but if its one thing I learned, these bolts never pull...

    Time For a New Washer!

Unfortunately that model falls way out of budget.

    Time For a New Washer!

And the winner is... Just measured the laundry room, and it does not suffice to fit a Maytag Maxima unit...Looks like LG is going to be the route on this one. I really did want the Maytag but it just is too deep to fit into the room. If I go with the Maytag Maxima unit, then the machine would...

    2018 Maytag vs. SQ

Better yet, you don't even need a 2018 speed queen if you have a laundry tub. Simply fill it up with water, load clothes and detergent and push the clothes around weakly by hand.

    Duet WFW94HEXW2 F06 E02 Fault

Those motor control boards on the earlier DD Duets looked like to be nothing but problems with capacitors blowing and failing. Makes me wonder if that was the reason WP got rid of the motor control board after the early models of the DD front loaders and have been kept out even in the newer...

    Time For a New Washer!

Decided to head down to the showroom to see the LG's mainly in person. I noticed that the price of the WM4370HKA was lower than the 3770, so I went to it instead. Right off the bat, the doors squeaky plastic bugged me a lot, even toys are more sturdier than that. The dryers door didn't make...

    Time For a New Washer!

We are moving into our new house soon which just finished being built. The time has come to choose all of our appliances - including the washer and dryer. I'm torn over certain models and brands. 1. Maytag Maxima MHW5500FC 1.1 (runner up) Whirlpool Duet WFW85HEFC - Part of me is already...

Are new Whirlpool FL Washers in the pipline?

Unless it is Samsung built...like the later models of the Maytag Neptune.

lg/kenmore front load washer extremely heavy

LG FL'ers weigh from 202-210 pounds. My WP duet weighed at 245 pounds with the newer ones being 2 pounds less. The motor I don't think is heavy at all as well as the pump. I think majority of the weight comes from the balancing counter weights. My Maytag Neptune MAH5500BWW is the same weight...

    SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE SPIDER CORROSION

Numerous factors actually can contribute to this. These include, use of frequent cold washes allowing build up of detergent to take place, poor maintenance of the washer itself and generally because this washer is a Samsung...poor quality. At our old house we had a Whirlpool WFW72 which was 3...

    Maytag washer draining problem

This is most likley due to the outer tub filling up with water at a faster rate than usual that the pump can handle taking out. If the drum kept turning the water would just turn with the drum against the outter tub walls. I know my Whirlpool Duet AND my Inglis Direct Drive would do similar...
