Maytag Wringer with Lint Filter Agitator

I do use it frequently but not as a daily driver. This machine was my grandmother's and I'm thinking she got it around 1970 maybe. I know she didn't use it very much and it sat in her kitchen with a cover over it for years before I got it. It runs just like it did when it was new. The only...

    Blackstone Wringer

Years ago I had a Blackstone wringer for a very short time. I have never seen any posts here about them or any pics. What I remember it was a good machine but I thought the agitator was somewhat small in the tub. Does anyone have any info on these machines and/or pics.

Preserving The Season's Fruits With A Canning Evangelist

My mother always canned tomatoes in the oven. I have done this also for probally 10 years and never had any problems. I did however read last year that this is not recommended. Maybe I have just been lucky over the years and maybe should do the water bath boil instead this year....before my...

1948 (?) Kenmore wringer washer - newest acquisition

Just Beautiful!! Thanks Brad for posting the videos. What a beautiful machine. I assume that you can rotate the wringer head around, such as if you were using a rinse tub behind the machine? If you ever decide you are going to move her out of your collection please let me know :-)!

Pre-1966 Blue Bell for sale in MN

I always thought they were so ugly. I guess its the color combinations that don't do it for me. Maybe if the wringer rolls were the standard 1 white and 1 black it would be better. Does anyone know if the plusator would fit any of the wringer models? I have heard that they tangle really bad...

Lawn vacuums? Anyone with 1st hand experience?

Cyclone Rake I have a Cyclone Rake that hooks to the back of the mower. Its great and does a fantastic job. It has its own engine and grinds everything up into mulch. I also have a big hose that hooks to it that you can vacume out the flower beds or places that the mower won't go. They are...
