hitachi rice cooker my parents had that very one growing up. it made fluffy rice every time! sadly they replaced it (for no reason...) a couple of years ago I always loved to hear the bell (thus chime-o-matic) and the end of cooking when it switched to warm.

SUPER CAPACITY My parents daily driver is an LDA5800 circa..1976.....you could wash a matress in the damn thing...... I'll have to take some pics of it the next time I am there.

POST 560532 That 1988 portable is my daily driver...awesome machine!! even after almost 24 years of use, I have replaced the timer, and the fill valve..... and that's it!! Neat to see the actual ad for it :o)

LINT FILTER The top mount pull out filter on my Kenmore 80 Series (Daily Driver) Says nothing...but I do clean it every use...And I'm with Malcolm, I Wash the lint Screen regularly with soap and water to remove Fabric Softener residue

RCA Whirlpool My parents had that air conditioner in our house 220 volts...I don't recall the BTU's but it cooled our whole 1200 sq ft w/no trouble...pretty quietly too..I thought it was sooo cool that the controls were hidden behind a door at the top left that looked like louvers....
