    Dyson CR02 Allergy

Hi Steve, The only time i've seen the contrarotation in person is when I used to work in the Co-op & we had a demo models with towels in, needless to say I was constantly activating it lol. I'm hoping that putting it through diagnostic model will confirm if it will contrarotate still and then...

    Dyson CR02 Allergy

Arbilab Allergy is the name of the machine because it has a allergy foundation approved duvet cycle and you can add up to 5 rinses to a cycle, so is allergy friendly. Seamus as far as I'm aware the drums aren't locked. I'm gonna try the diagnostic mode later to see if it still contrarotates on...

    Dyson CR02 Allergy

Hi all, Been a while since I posted here. I sold my Hotpoint Ultima WMUD962P & bought a reconditioned Dyson CR02 Allergy in February. It is immaculate and is a great machine to use. It is very fast, washes & rinses brilliantly and spins with very little fuss. Unfortunately it no longer...

New LG front load washer: just one rinse?

I wanted to add to this on a couple of experiences. I hsve owned an lg washer & it was my favourite to date, it had a recirculatory jet which was very powerful & hit the back of the drum, I wouldn't discount the effectiveness of the recirculatory jets, they enable an effective rinse at low...

My new LG steam washer uses virtually no water

I maintain that my lg was the best washer I ever bought, it washed and rinsed great thanks to the powerful recirculatory jet! It is still in service in my ex wife's possession washing for my 2 sons nearly 3 years in. I plan to get another. Darren

Study: If You’ve Got Asthma, Drying Laundry Inside Your Home Might Be Unhealthy

I've had asthma my entire life! I find I can breath better in winter than I can in summer. I dry clothes indoors and haven't noticed an adverse effect on my breathing! Darren

    November Which 2012

Hot and cold fill is a waste of time on a modern machine because the hot water never reaches the machine before it stops filling. Secondly cold water is great for stain removal and detergents work better from cold. I've owned countless machines and have never had a moldy door seal or funky...

My Hotpoint-Electra is now basically a Zanussi Jetsystem

Rolls, you're Definately right about the heater in a separate chamber at the base of the machine. I have a picture of one of those in one of my Haynes manuals. Not the case on the first split panel machines like the fj1033 like I had which went back to being in the drum. I love a good...

    Zanussi

I never thought I'd say it about one of my favourite brands but I wish they would. Outsourced models, cheap build, dumbed down styling and options and last but not least...I need a new line for this shocker.. The latest bottom of the line washer has......ONE drum paddle! Are you actually...

    Phil Michell's Washer

Where is the strangest place you have seen someone's washing machine?

My dad owns a rental property firm and I went to work with my brother for a week while waiting to start a new job. We went to a 3 storey house. The kitchen was where you'd expect it downstairs and the washer was in a cupboard on the top floor inbetween 2 of the bedrooms! I went to repair the...

Hotpoint 9534 Finished and back together.

Great thread! We got one of these machines brand new in 1988/89 to replace out 18371 hotty! I can confirm it had that door glass from new. Perhaps they used those toward then end and on to the later restyled doors. Ours had one of those drums fitted but we got one with holes in the paddles...

    Lazy engineers?!

I'm disgusted! There is a brand new hot point aqualtis on eBay that has developed a leak and the engineer has written it Off saying the machine is too heavy and it is to big a job to repair!!! Anybody got any other ridiculous repair stories they'd like to share? Darren
