Yes. The timers (manual) are made in Mexico--several parts are on the SQ...they are mostly assembled in the USA.

Oh, that be-u-tee-ful Q! Did anyone notice that in the videos, the Speed Queen "Q" seems to have a polished, raised effect on the topload models? I couldn't tell on the front load, front control panel models. Any guess on pricing for the rear control (digital), front load? I think I can see...

Only assembled in USA...which is about as good as we can get these days.

I used ZOTE soap flakes in my latest video--since there was so much talk about it. Check it out to see suds levels, etc. I used very hot water, so they melted instantly. I get "ring around the tub" with them though, so I won't be using them very often.

Apparently SQ does tweak it's controls. I noticed that between my original 2009 model and the 2011 model the knobs had ridges added (the washer knob was hard to pull out with wet fingers). Adding indentions/ridges made it much easier on the new model. I called them and they sent me a newer...
