    Caloric wall oven - free

This Wall Oven and the Matching Caloric Cook Top were very popular in Northern New Jersey Homes where I grew up. Seems like that set up and a KDS-15 were TOL back then.

    WTB KitchenAid KD-12 drain part

Last Valve I bought from Hobart about 10-12 years ago was $260. They are Cast Iron. I don't think there are any left. You might go to a Used Kitchen Equipment dealer and ask for a Drain Valve for a UM-4. Rare as Hen's teeth, They may have a scrap machine kicking around. Good Luck.

    Making Split Pea Soup

Looks Delish. Freezing here on the Cape. Made Chicken Soup yesterday. Love the Store/Museum. My friend likes to pour a shot of Good Sherry (not cooking Sherry) in her Split Pea when she serves it and it is delish.

    Best budget Dishwasher?

We have pretty hard water here on the Cape. I’ve always been a powder person forever. Until one day when I got the BJ flyer there were two coupons. One was for their house brand Berkeley and Jensen and the other one was for a Cascade Pure. I have to say the Cascade Pure or the BJ’s pod clean...

    station wagons: 1957-90...

We also had when I was younger a 1966 Ford Fairlane Wagon. Dad had a ThermoKing A/C under the dash unit installed. That car was dangerous as we used to start it in the Winter to warm up and it would jump into reverse and roll into the corner of the house. Went through a couple of Tailights...
