Im with aquarius1984 and Peter on this one. I always transport machines laying on the oppsosite side to the dispenser drawer. If a heavy drum is sitting on the dispenser box it will go crack as soon as you hit a bump.

Why not post a photo of the timer motor someone may be able to match it up?

Seems too much for the washer to me. £80!. Especially as he says he has tinkered with it himself, you never know what kind of damage this DIY'er has done. Save your money for something else. Just my advice.

Hi As Im sure you know I believe this LG machine has the Direct Drive motor not the capacitor driven induction motor. They dont actually have a spin brake just electronics that allow very good control of the motor. Here is a picture of a DD motor in the LG's:

Haier Hate to be neagative about your Haier but they are not known for there quality. I honestly hope you get many happy years of service out of the machine, but I would be very supprised if you do.

Hi Your machine is indeed a Haier. Keep in mind your old Candy machine lasted 9 years. I would bet my mortgage that the Haier won't last that long. Looks great though, enjoy it while it lasts!. bertrum

Use quality wash powder and wash at decent temperatures, do regular boil washes and you shouldn't need any additional products.

Great machines there. Which magazine is *hit now and *hit in 1979. How can you judge on the quality of a brand new machine?
