Nice range! It’s unfortunate that Frigidaire doesn’t make 40” ranges anymore.

We did the same thing about 8 years ago. Had a small Sears “Galaxy” that worked great but got tired of having to dig around in it, and don’t miss having to defrost it. Haven’t had any problems with the upright one, it’s a Frigidaire made Kenmore.

Didn’t read through the whole thread yet, but I don’t think so. I’ve seen their vacuums sold in pretty much all the major retailers websites. A few weeks ago I saw a Kenmore freezer for sale at Lowes, think they sell a French door fridge too.

Of course I’d really like to find a new range with a warming drawer and a panel light, but nobody seems to make any with these features anymore!

Missed one odd detail… I just noticed something is strangely missing. Where’s the handle for the broiler drawer? I don’t see any screw holes so it doesn’t appear to be missing.

I highly doubt it has a 110 v oven. If so I’ve never heard of such a range. Also notice no bake element, which shows its most likely gas. I doubt the seller knows what they’re saying or else they meant to say 110 v oven light.

Even compared to “newer” ranges of 15-25 years ago the stuff out now seems so plain and dull. The metal parts look thin and cheap compared even to then. Hardly any new ranges have a warming drawer feature whereas they were fairly common 15 years ago. Nothing now has a panel light or even LED...

The existing one may just need a cleaning. Maybe blowing out with an air compressor to remove crumbs/crust buildup, and checking the terminals for any burned on deposits that might be making cycles too long.

A lot of the long slot toasters these days are two slot, so as to get 4 slices into a 2 slice toaster. But there are still single slot ones around. I don’t know that there’s much variability in quality between brands anymore, so you might just try doing an internet search and see what you can...
