the worst washing machine and tumble dryer you have owned

Mine counts for both a washer and dryer, Indesit IWDC6125. Washed well, rinsed well, dried OK but lasted a mere 18 months before it almost caught fire (irony being it was being used as just a washer!)

    Hoover A3110

My pennies worth It doesn't surprise me that Fairy was the worst because my GP had told me that its quite a harsh deterrent and looking online at various parenting sites it seems to not be a one off (pity because I did quite like it lol) Ecover and Tesco/Sainsbury's non bio powders are ok for...

    smeg made by bosch

Not the first time I've seen this. I know that the rest of the laundry range other than this washer, dryer and a few models sold over seas are made by Smeg themselves, Smeg also produce integrated washer dryers for BSH as well. Oh! and also one matching washer and dryer set was made by Gorenje

    My New Beko ECO WMB81445LW

I've got a Beko WMB81241LW and its a smashing machine, my sister replaced her ageing Zanussi with a 7kg excellence model when it died and she rate it highly, and she said the fact its quick at washing means she can quickly catch up with a family wash in no time at all. Happy washing Tom :)

    BOLD

I tend to use Ecover laundry stuff now due to skin issues. My mother uses the blue bold and her rinse water always looks murky to me Tom

how good or bad is your washer ?

    New Dryer - Miele T8722

Good choice! The Siemens we have is just beyond awful in my books, same issues you've stated and I don't like how the clothes smell after, kind of a clean but musty smell (my mother doesn't notice and brushed what i said off) I much prefer using my AEG lavatherm dryer or Whirlpool 6th sense...

    Low temperature put on test

I always do towels and whites (separately of course) on a 60*c programme and once a month on a 90*c, sheets get either a 50*c or a 60*c and coloureds, jeans and darks get a 40*c or (sometimes when stuffs new and an in-depth wash isn't necessary) a 30*c wash. I found when I did whites on a 40*c...

Bosch EcoLogixx 7 Heatpump Dryer - Tangles, tangles and more tangles!

We were doing that anyway Logixx, it was getting beyond annoying because literally within the space of 5 months, the fault occurred again The first engineer was really harsh to speak to, the second one was really helpful though and was friendly Tom

Bosch EcoLogixx 7 Heatpump Dryer - Tangles, tangles and more tangles!

We have a similar issue with a Siemens IQ700, its fine with clothes, but sheets it knots up (only does it to a bad extent when mum uses it (confused) and its had 2 call outs, both for the same fault: blocked condensate pump and pipes. First engineer cleaned the pipes out, he gave mum for using...
