Jerrod, The list of temperatures on the detergent drawer are the maximum temperatures for that particular cycle, you still need to select a temperature using the temperature dial next to the programme dial. Tom

Today's a normal 40*c wash with persil non bio powder and professional comfort lily and rice flower softener in the hotpoint.
