My Speed Queen Top loader rinses so well, but it does use a full tub of water that there is rarely any detergent scent left just a clean smell which is what I like. ..however I know people that use the same detergent in a HE machine that when their laundry is washed smells strongly of detergent...

I can't show you step by step but its in the back of the washer..no you don't lift any panel..look at the back of your machine..than at the pic above. Cheryl

Please correct me if I'm wrong but after washing and rinsing, if the laundry was rinsed properly should there be any detergent scent, because I thought if you could still smell detergent they were not rinsed properly. Cheryl

Eddie Did that silicone oven liner give a recommendation on max oven temperature while using it? I was reading the package of one at Bed, Bath &Beyond and it said never use in a oven with a temp exceeding 375 degrees. If yours can go to 400 or so I'll have to go to walmart for it. Cheryl

Rtg...nothing wrong with comparing the SQ to the old Maytag..I think I understood you. The SQ is designed to be as close to the old skool washers as you can find. Hope it gives you many years of clean clothes. This is the perfect washer for someone that wants new but old at the same time....Cheryl

IMO the Persil pods work very well...I don't see you with a problem of course I don't know what else you may have hiding. There are people here with hundreds of detergents LOL... I only have 94.
