Magic Chef dishwashers were made by D&M originally.  GE must've picked up the slack when D&M was DisMantled in the mid 1980s.

Well...bless their hearts.  They tried....    In the second picture it looks like the gasket for the power shower is flaked or damaged.  That would lead me to believe the hoses may also be dried out, but that's just my opinion.  

Weren't Westinghouse disposers sourced from Anaheim fairly early on?    Too bad the Westinghouse-branded sink flange is missing...   And this seems overpriced.  A fellow collector here found me a 1958 GE Disposall, new in the box, at a Restore a while back - for $50!

Glad I could help, Justin!  I got the manual a couple of years after I installed mine and I made more than a few boo-boos ....  BUT the 56 Wonder Kitchen is still functional after all this years and mishaps!!

Yep.  The timer knob for the washer is indeed missing.  This seemed to be a common problem with the dials of this era, unfortunately.   I think I have a spare in my timer parts box if anyone goes for this!

I managed to get this short video as 'proof' the timer was now advancing, but trust me, I did several tests of the various cycles and functions, including the rapid-advance "cancel" option.  The timer was now working correctly once again!
