    Appliance Park closed? Never had it closed. They continued making ovens ranges, and dishwashers. Some parts from China, and made by GE/Mabe Mexico, and some ranges by GE/Camco in Hamilton Ontario Canada.

    GE used to even build there own Food processors and microwave ovens. I think now they do source form LG made in Korea, or at least they were. Their refrigerators haven't really changed much, other than Led lighting.

    What do you mean? GE and Profile models are still made with smooth tops in both rear and front controls. Maybe not Hotpoint. I thinks it's more of a cheap builder/rental grade brand now.
