I have the washer, but it’s currently inoperable because of a timer problem, and the timer is NLA. It could probably be fixed but nobody seems to know anything about these rapid advance timers any more.

Kelvinator called its compressor the Polarsphere. I’m sure I’ve seen it pictures in some vintage ads from around 1940, and it was spherical, but I can’t find an example right now. Later ads picture a “Polarsphere” compressor that looks fairly conventional, more like a Tecumseh, which maybe it was.

I would suspect even a small amount of regular Dawn in a dishwasher would cause major oversudsing. Years ago (1987 or so) I tried to use Fulsol, a degreaser put out by the Fuller Brush Company, in a Hotpoint dishwasher and it was a near disaster.
