Hahha Greg & Robert No the boot is not just a fashion statement and yes this is from my stock from the UK, fit like a glove ! The trick was the sealing at the door, only in'48 did they have this weird 3 part seal.I took a photo of it before we even moved the machine because I knew it would fall...

Here she is Running beautifully again Doing laundry on a regular basis, I am so glad to have a Gyro back in the Stable, these machines clean as well as my 1-18 Jetcone washers !!

This is a beautiful machine achievement It was the first non bolt down for a front loader, it came with a steel cage frame so it's incredibly stable !  That also makes it a breeze to service and all the panels just bolt off !

Restoration took the whole winter I broke down everything , even the timer motor, and cleaned lubed and rebuilt ! It had a factory defect which is why it died in 1957 ! The lowest transmission bolt had a bent head! This meant the gasket could not completely seal and so the  oil leaked very...

Restoration completed . John & I & Todd & Jeff Got this beauty in October 2023 from the original owner.  We had to haul it out of  a very tight basement with a right turn at the top! It all 4 of us to get it out ! You can see it was pretty neglected but I was in love ! 

Tom it came from Mary a long time customer of John's !! I got her 1948 Bendix and her father kept everything, she is clearing out and every month or so I get a paper with information on the machine he bought and this !

A home made blend Transmission fluid mixed 50/50 with Acetone ! Boy does that penetrate and free things up !! It went to far the first time into the windings of an old solenoid. Live and learn I say.
