Have you checked for a blockage in the house waste plumbing? You can do this by draining the machine into a bucket rather than the normal waste connection. If it still won't drain into the bucket you need to remove the sump hose from the bottom of the tub, there might be a sock or something...

If I recall correctly, your Creda is one of the ones made by Hotpoint so there will no doubt have been discussions about very similar Hotpoint or Electra versions. The WM64 is a good machine, especially if it has the later type motor fitted.

I take it you are referring to the part that rotates with the drum spider? If the face itself is OK but the seal is loose you can sometimes stick them back on with epoxy glue or something.
